| This was a great day out with good friends. Scooby in his first show gained a Red Card Day with the RCA, and Santa won his Grand Premier title so well done Mandy, fingers crossed that Trouper will be the next in line. This was also my 40th Birthday weekend so the girls put on a lovely spread of lunch and bubbly, so thank you for a lovely day guys. | 15th January 2011 Sarah walker took her two Amazolou boys to this southern based show and didn't they do well? Both boys won the awards they were looking for even with some stiff competition. | We had a great day in the shows new location. Manfred came along as a late entry and this was his first show in nearly four years so we weren't really sure how he would handle it, but as you can see from his results he had a fantastic day with Red Cards all round. The star of the day was baby Scooby Snax who as usual spent the show fast asleep. He won all his classes having another Red Card day and then was awarded Best British Kitten and nominated for Best in Show. Congratulations to Bernadette's gorgeous neuter boy Eli for beating our baby, we'll let you off this time round Bernie as our baby has many more shows ahead of him to get there eventually. |

| 20th February 2011 The Selkirk Rex Cat Club has been running an annual award process since it's first AGM in 2007. This allows owners and breeders to submit their cats wins over the preceding show year with trophies and certificates handed out at the following years AGM. This year has seen 7 of the 17 possible awards going to Amazolou adult, kittens and neuters which I am hugely proud off. A very handsome Selkirk of excellent type, balance and
quality; his head was broad with rounded contours and full
cheeks. The ears were of medium size and spaced well apart
in the contours of the head. They were broad at the base
and tufted at the tips with curly furnishings. His eyes were
large, round and very expressive. He had a rounded
forehead and a short, broad, straight nose with a slight
downward slant. He had a good chin. His muzzle was of
medium width with well padded whisker pads to give a
pleasing rectangular shape. He had a short, thick neck. The
rectangular body was cobby with a level back and a lovely
strong, muscular feel to him. He had substantial legs and a
lovely thick tail of medium length. His coat was beautiful! It
was thick, dense, soft and plush with excellent waves and
curls. He was presented to perfection and had a superb
temperament.

All three behaved brilliantly, except maybe for Baby as she acted out her Diva status until she just thought 'oh what the hell' and slept for the rest of the day. Carole brought along Rumer, aka Bon-Bon for her first show too and considering 3 of the kittens were only just old enough for the show they all did incredibly well as they were large side classes. |

| We had a fantastic day at our club show although absolutly knackering!! The committee did a fantastic job preparing the hall for the show day and then running the results table. I spent most of the day running around putting up award results and handing over prizes to exhibitors. There was a lot off news for the Amazolou cats on show, JetBaby won his first Premier Certificate, Woo-Woo won her first Championship Certificats, Hero got his 2nd Master Cat award. Mr Brightside gained his final 5th Imperial Certificate awarding him the title and Mister Fantasic won his 3rd Grand Premier Certificate again awarding him the title. The best part of the day was learning that my home bred baby BonBon was chosen for Best in Show Kitten. | Colourpoint, Rex-Coated & A.O.V Cat Club 15th October 2011 This was one of the best CRAOV shows I have attended over the last few years, mainly down to the change of venue which allowed for more room and the atmosphere to flow. Another barrel load of Amazolou cats attended. No new titles this time around but more steps towards them. The Kittens had a great time and lapped up all the attention from the visitors and judges. |

| November 19th, NEC Birmingham Another fab show held by the GCCF, and just down the road from me so even though I was 30 minutes from the show hall I still had a 3am start with grooming the cats and making sure I hadn't forgotten my show kit. I spent most of the day on the Selkirk Rex Cat Club stall with Jetranger and kittens showing off to the crowds how wonderful the Selkirk Rex breed truely is. Neko was the only curly in competition from my home, but Mandy brough Trouper for his UK Grand and had a fab day.
